I'm almost done with showing you all the things I got stacked up. Hopefully I've got some new things by the end of next week - unfortunately, my first patina experiments didn't work out very well, so you'll have to bear with me.
I really like chunky, earthy necklaces so I thought I should make one. I used ceramic beads from Gaea and a ceramic clasp from Earthenwood Studios, and combined them with roble wood nuggets and a heavy chain for this necklace which I think turned out pretty cool.
I had a cute toad bead from Green Girl Studios in my stash which I strung on a leather cord together with the ceramic beads. He makes me smile, Mr. Toady (of course he has a name!).
A colleague of mine asked to make jewelry for her wedding, which is very flattering, and fun too. It's a pretty big deal making jewelry for someone's wedding so I'm going to to put a lot of effort into making something for her that she really likes. It's a little bit different than what I normally do, but I'm looking forward to it! I have some ideas and now I'm off to shop for stones and findings... and maybe some pearls too.Yay!

Giveaway!
I promised a fun surprise, and here it is!
Well, I actually already have plans for another giveaway soon, but first things first, right?
So here is what I've got. It's a selection of smeiprecious gemstones; a dyed agate slab, some tiny faceted onyx beads, and some chunky faceted artistic jasper rondelles. I will also put a surprise in the package to add to the fun!
To enter, just leave a comment to this post. Since my blog is new and I'd love to expand my network, you'll also get an extra "ticket" in the draw if you link to my blog - just write a comment about it so that I know. The giveaway will be open until Saturday at midnight (Swedish time, 6 pm on the East Coast in the US) and I will do the drawing on Sunday.
Good luck everyone!

More jewelry!
It's a very springy day here today in southern Sweden, and officially the first day of summer time as well! Yay! Today I took a few more pictures of my latest creations, so here they come;
This necklace has faceted fire agate beads and a resin bezel pandant that I made. It's a pretty simple necklace, I thought it would be nice to let the beads and the pendant be in focus.
This is the box that I made for the necklace.
And here is yet another necklace.. I know the picture is weird, but it will have to do for now. In this one I used a lot of different beads, but the most exciting ones has to be the ceramic beads made by Gaea. I just love her beads, they are so amazing!
Aren't the different finishes of the ceramic beads just wonderful? I love the matte ones, and the glossy ones, and the crackled ones...
This is just a picture of the necklace in its box.
Oh, and I've just started working with patinas on metals! It is very exciting. I got some patinating supplies from Missficklemedia, and I am now working on my first things, which I hope to be able to show off soon.
This ocean blue patina is seriously hard to resist. And it has to be one of the best summer colors ever! I'm patinating a brass clasp in this color.
Thanks for looking!

Two new things
Hello again!
Ok, so I have made quite many new pieces of jewelery, but time in combination with the overcast weather hasn't allowed me take good pictures of all of them so I'll show the ones I've got so far. Hope you'll like them!
This is a three-stranded bracelet in copper, silver and white. I just love the ceramic clasp from Earthenwood Studio. It also has a resin bezel link which I made myself. Well, not the bezel itself but I put the picture in it and cast the resin. It also has a very cute pewter owl bead from Green Girl Studios.
I also made this necklace. It has a resin bezel pendant, faceted rainbow snakeskin agate, and new jade rondelles. The picture is a bit dark so I might have to take a new picture when the conditions are better.
I've started making boxes for my jewelry. It takes some time, but it is fun to make them and hopefully people will appreciate it. After all, this is my hobby and if enjoy it, then it can just be part of my hobby, right?
This is the first box I made - and the only one I've taken a picture of so far. Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome!
Hi and welcome to my new blog!
If you found your way here from my old blog, I'm very happy that you took the time to follow the link and I hope you will want to return here. If not, I'm still very happy that you are here!
I've been creating jewelry for some time now, and I felt like it was time for me to move on a little bit creatively, and therefore I started this blog to mark my evolution (ok, maybe a little too big word) in jewelry making. I'm planning to start working with some new techniques, following a long-time dream of mine to learn how to do metalwork.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back soon! I will have a little celebration surprise tomorrow which I think you will like!
